Mansa played host to Narendra Modi’s sadbhavana mission on Thursday, where the chief minister unleashed his diatribe against the Congress government at the Centre while protesting against the provision of minority quota in the OBC reservation cleared by the UPA cabinet. Describing the Centre’s latest move to deduct the OBC quota as a bid to divide the society on basis of religion and caste, the CM stated that Congress is pushing the nation towards devastation.
In a meeting held at Gandhinagar on Wednesday, the Gujarat unit of the saffron party has decided to launch a statewide awareness campaign regarding possible consequences in the society following minority quota in OBC reservation. Modi also remembered the contribution of late Gujarat Assembly speaker Mangubhai Patel during his speech.
