It is a defeat but the sizeable voters in Neyattinkara reflected their feelings by voting BJP. The starting of the campaign was 1st class voters mindset for BJP. The TP murder diverted the voters mindset to another direction. The end campaign was seized by CONGI'S while COMMU'S went for a survival and retaining the vote bank. BJP should admit that there was a big gap at the end of the campaign and on the polling day itself. CONGI'S & COMMU'S brought outside volunteers for vote pressure on the remaining voters which extended the voting time and it was a photo finish for UDF. However this is a lesson to be learnt and in the next elections BJP should correct the campaign method. The money has been poured by UDF to the NADAR voters especially hindu Nadars ( WHO HAD THE MINDSET OF VOTING OF SRI RAJAGOPALJI ) . Their mindset was purchased by UDF for Selvaraj. But BJP have increased their vote bank and it is a good omen for BJP in kerala. Why not BJP launch LOTUS CLUBS across Kerala to capture young people mindset . The LOTUS CLUBS must have job seeking, personality development , hobbies and Hindu awareness study classes. It is just a thought . May be it become reality in the comming months.
